To make Punjabi Kadhi Pakora, you will need the following ingredients:
1 cup besan (gram flour)
4 cups water
Salt, to taste

1 teaspoon garam masala

1 teaspoon coriander seeds
1 pinch asafoetida
2 tablespoons oil
1 cup yogurt
3 cups water
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
2 green chilies, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
2 tablespoons chopped mint
1 cup pakora mix
Oil, for deep frying
To make the pakoras:
In a bowl, mix together the besan, 4 cups of water, salt, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and asafoetida.
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of the besan mixture into the hot oil and fry until golden brown. Remove the pakoras from the oil and set aside.
To make the kadhi:
In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, 3 cups of water, turmeric, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and green chilies.
In a separate pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and coriander seeds and fry until fragrant.
Add the yogurt mixture to the pan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Add the fried pakoras to the pan and simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes.
Garnish with chopped cilantro and mint before serving.
